Mrs. Waltz

As a Colorado native, I am thrilled to be teaching in my home state! I grew up on a farm in Lamar, Colorado. In 1991, I went off to college in Watertown, Wisconsin and met my husband, Josh. We lived in the Detroit area for a total of 10 years with a year and a half spent in Louisville, KY. In 2007, we moved our family of 7 to Colorado. We are happy to be part of the Parker community!

Professionally, I graduated from Maranatha Baptist University (1997) with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Minor in Music. I have taught music professionally since 1999 beginning with private piano and voice lessons. I gained my love for teaching music to the littles when I taught at a music studio in Louisville, KY. I became a licensed Kindermusik teacher there and moving to music with PreK-2nd grade became my love! Musically, I have played piano and sung on a Worship Team for a variety of churches in every place we have lived since 1992. I currently help lead a Worship Team at Parker Hills Bible Fellowship, where we mentor young musicians to lead the music. I have been teaching with Mrs. Myers at PCK since 2011.

I enjoy hiking, gardening, volleyball, reading, and spending time with my family.
